About Kitchen Time USA

We design kitchens in Chester, New York, and we run the renovation that follows. Those are two different jobs and most companies do one of them. Designing without installing produces drawings that do not survive contact with the site. Installing without designing means someone else's mistake arrives on a truck and becomes yours.

How we work

The room gets measured before anything is drawn. The layout gets settled and signed off before anything is ordered. Then the trades are booked in the order the work has to happen, and we hold that chain rather than handing you six phone numbers.

What you get told

A schedule with real dates on it before work starts, and a call when one of them moves. Which weeks the room is unusable. When the countertop is away being cut and there is no sink. What is behind the wall you want removed, before a plan is drawn around removing it.

When the answer is no

Sometimes the wall has to stay. Sometimes stock cabinetry would do the job and the custom line is money spent on a word. We would rather say that at the first visit than take the order and have you find out later.

The cabinetry

We build with Shiloh, Eclipse and Fabuwood. Samples come to your house, because a finish photographed under showroom lighting is not the finish you will live with. We specify the range that suits the room rather than the one with a promotion running.
